We sadly lost another Past District Governor last week. Bob Williams, member of the Rotary Club of Lombard and District 6440 Governor in 1999-2000, passed at his home on Monday May 7.
Bob was an active Rotarian, serving many leadership roles, notably District Governor, establishing record giving levels to eradicate polio and going on several mission trips including to Ghana. He was honored to escort Mother Teresa at the Rotary International convention in Brazil and logged 45 years of perfect Rotary attendance.
