District 6440 received 48 applications for vocational scholarships, which are awards of $1,500 to be used toward a two-year post-secondary program. An "excellent group" of applicants was interviewed on April 16, with 21 scholarships awarded (six more than last year).

District 6440 is funding 15 scholarships and the Robert and Elke Friedman Charitable Foundation is funding 5 scholarships. One scholarship is anonymously funded.
