Looking for New Members? Consider hosting a Rotary After Hours.

The Mount Prospect - Prospect Heights Rotary club recently initiated a monthly Rotary After Hours at the local Bar Louie. Usually held on the third Monday of the month, the group has had a successful fellowship and social gathering in addition to bringing awareness of Rotary to new members of the community. In addition, they plan to open the event up to neighboring rotarians who might need to do a make-up. While there is no formal program, Jim Uszler, President of the club brings along his laptop, so Rotary International information is at his fingertips through the Wi-Fi connection at the restaurant. Usually appetizers and libations are purchased by participants not the club but larger clubs might have their own suggestions on how they want to handle this.
